The Sing Tao House houses offices for the Institute for International Journalism, Commission Program for Mara Institute, and the Charles Glover International Resource Center.
History
Built in 1996, the Sing Tao Center is named in honor of the Sing Tao Publishing Company of Hong Kong, China. The Institute for International Journalism provides organizational support for School of Journalism programs in Asia, Europe and the South Pacific.
Sally Aw
Sally Aw, owner of the Sing Tao Publishing Company in Hong Kong, China, provided a large part of the financial funds for the new building. She also provided financial support for a chaired Professor of International Journalism.
