The Burtch House houses the offices of Honors Tutorial College and Office of Nationally Competitive Awards.

Formerly "35 Park Place," the building was renamed to The Burtch House in April 2026 in recognition of Bruce (BGS ’72) and Janie Burtch, longtime supporters of the University. Read More About the 35 Park Place Renaming

History

Built in the early 1900's, 35 Park Place was the home of Dean Irma Voigt, before it was acquired by Ohio University. The offices of Arts and Sciences occupied the house prior to it becoming the home for Honors Tutorial College.
