USDA Ohio Rural Development, Small Business Administration, Ohio Development Service Agengy, and Finance Fund to help small businesses

May 14, 2013 10:00 AM to May 14, 2013 11:00 AM
Ohio University Innovation Center

In the U.S., it’s estimated that small businesses – those with fewer than 100 people – employ more than half the country’s workforce and create two of every three new jobs in America. To a rural community, these jobs are particularly important.

Tuesday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m., representatives from the USDA’s Ohio office of Rural Development, the Small Businesses Administration, Buckeye Hills-Hocking Valley Regional Development District, Ohio Development Service Agency and the Finance Fund will gather at Ohio University Innovation Center, 340 West State Street Conference Room 103, Athens Ohio 45701 to help area small businesses learn more about programs and incentives available to help them grow.

Topics include:
•Financing for business expansion, machinery and equipment purchases, working capital or debt refinance
•Funding for renewable energy and energy efficiencies improvements
•Opportunities to enhance business, grow sales and improve income.

This meeting is free and open to the public. If you require special accommodations or would like additional information, please contact Randy Monhemius at (614) 255-2424 or randy.monhemius@oh.usda.gov.
