In most instances, regional campus students are bound by the dates, deadlines, policies, and procedures as published in the Schedule of Classes. Additional information, exceptions and variations applicable to regional campuses are found below. Information applicable to all regional campuses is listed first. CONTINUING STUDENTS

Register for your classes on or after your registration appointment time listed in My OHIO Student Center (which may be accessed from My OHIO portal - Academics tab).

If you have trouble registering, contact the advising office.

Reminder: Classes withdrawn from (dropped) after University-established deadlines will not remove fees for hours dropped and will reflect a grade of (WP/WF) on the student's academic record.

Advising and Career Services, Room 101
Academic advising, DARS reports, skills assessments, disability services, permission forms, petitions to enter a class on the first day, career information, parking (vehicle registration is not required at OUE), testing services. Students must make appointments for skills assessments and make-up tests. Phone: 740.699.2536

OUE's Advising Office is open until 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday during fall and spring semesters.

The library is located on the first floor of Shannon Hall, 740.699.2519. Hours change depending on the time of year and the semester. Be sure to check at the start of each semester.


NEW STUDENTS AND TRANSFERS
All new students, including transfer students, must take a skills assessment (dates will be announced). There is no charge for the skills assessment, but an appointment is required.

Note: Transfer students must take the skills assessment, but we will NOT require them to retake courses for which they receive transfer credit.

New and transferring students will receive a copy of the semester schedule through the mail. These students should call the Advising Office, 740.699.2536 , and make individual appointments during which we will help them create schedules for the upcoming term.


RE-ENROLLING STUDENTS
If you were not enrolled for the preceding semester but have been an Ohio University student in the past, you must file the appropriate forms (no cost involved) to reactivate your records. Contact the Admissions Office on the Eastern campus and ask for a re-enrollment packet. Before registering for classes, you should also talk with an advisor who can assist you in selecting appropriate courses to meet your requirements.


LANCASTER CAMPUS

Courses over the Ohio Learning Network may follow a different exam schedule. Students should verify final exam date and time with instructor early in the semester.

FINAL EXAMINATION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULE
Final exams will be given in accordance with the regional campus final exam schedule. Each instructor is to inform his/her class of the final exam day and time at the first class meeting. See http://www.southern.ohiou.edu/pages/students/current-students/ for additional information.


IMPORTANT
Any student unable to complete the semester should contact Student Services, 740.533.4600, for information and instructions. Students who do not follow University policy for withdrawal will receive an F, FN, or FS grade. FN/FS grades calculate as Fs in the GPA.

INSURANCE
Insurance forms will be available at the time of registration. Students who want insurance should complete the form and mail it to the indicated address.


LIBRARY
The Library is housed on the second floor of the Collins Center. Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday; and 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturday. Hours may vary if classes are not in session.


NEW STUDENTS
New students who will be attending Southern campus will be required to attend an orientation (dates to be announced). Student Services will advise new students with the details a few weeks prior to the event. Contact Student Services for more information regarding these sessions.


RE-ENROLLING STUDENTS, RELOCATING STUDENTS, AND TRANSFER STUDENTS

ZANESVILLE CAMPUS

NOTICE
Register Early!
Most Zanesville campus classes
are closed for registration
after the second day of classes.


CLOSED CLASSES - WAITING LISTS
If you wish to register for a CLOSED CLASS, go to the Information Center in Elson Hall, to have your name added to the wait list, and pick up a PETITION to enter a CLOSED CLASS. You must attend the first two contact hours of the class and, if an opening occurs, the instructor will admit petitioning students based on their wait list number.

FINAL EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Each instructor will inform each class of the final exam day and time at the first class meeting. This information is found on the syllabus.
