Project Management (B.S.P.M.)

Program Overview

The Project Management major is a two-year bachelor's degree completion program in the Department of Engineering Technology and Management. This online program is for individuals with a completed associate degree leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.P.M.) in Project Management from the Russ College of Engineering and Technology, a minor in Business from the College of Business at Ohio University, and a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Methods. This Project Management bachelor degree completion program is focused on enabling students to be able to develop comprehensive project management plans and documentation, control projects, and lead change in an organization. It is expected that students will also be able to execute projects related to improving an organization's operations to be efficient and effective in meeting company and customer requirements. Students will also learn about Agile project management approaches and which project management tools to use in specific situations.

Students who wish to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Project Management prior to earning an associate degree are encouraged to reach out to the program director to seek an advising session for a personalized degree plan.

Freshman/First-Year Admission

Change of Program Policy

The student must have completed an associate degree. Students must have a GPA greater than 2.0 for all courses at Ohio University, for all courses in Russ College, and for all courses in the project management major.
