Graduate Programs

The Theater Division offers MFA programs in Directing, Performance, Playwriting and Production Design and Technology as well as an MA in General Theater and an MA Theater History and Criticism.

Professional Acting Program - MFA 5132 The Professional Acting Program will be auditioning for the next class in 2014/2015 for a start date of fall 2015.

Professional Directing Program - MFA 5130 The Professional Directing Program is currently recruiting for 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Professional Playwriting Program - MFA 5135 The Professional Playwriting Program accepts a selective class each fall.

Production Design and Technology - MFA 5159 (Design) MFA 5160 (Technicalogy) The Production Design and Technology Program accepts a group of talented designers and technicians each fall.

General Theater - MA 5138 One year program. Accepting applications in most areas, on a case by case basis. E-mail theater@ohio.edu for information in your program of interest.

History and Criticism - MA 5129 This degree program is not currently enrolling for study.
