Lieutenant Colonel Mark E. Enriques is responsible for recruiting, educating, training, and preparing students for commissioning into the Air Force as second lieutenants. He is the senior Air Force officer on campus with dual responsibilities as Detachment Commander and Chair of the Department of Aerospace Studies with the status of full professor.

Lieutenant Colonel Enriques is a 2003 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He is a command pilot with more than 3,400 hours, including 480 combat hours, in the T-6, T-1, C-5 and C-12 aircraft. Before assuming his current position, Lieutenant Colonel Enriques was the Director of the Special Operations Liaison Element at the 613th Air Operations Center.
