Biography
Lieutenant Colonel Scott Storm is the Commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp (AFROTC) Detachment 650 and Professor and Chair of the Department of Aerospace Studies at Ohio University, Athens, OH. He commands a cadre of four officer and enlisted members responsible for recruiting, educating, training, and preparing student cadets for commissioning into the United States Air Force and Space Force while earning a college degree.
Lt Col Storm commissioned from Det. 905, Washington State University in 2007 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has held engineering and data analysis positions in aircraft test and evaluation, modeling and simulation, wargaming, and enterprise budget analytics. He has served in leadership roles on both Air Staff and Combatant Command Staff.
Most recently, he was the Director of Operations for the Operational Learning Science Branch at the 711th Human Performance Wing, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, where he led 40 military and government civilians in the daily research and development of cutting-edge warfighter training technologies.
