The Baker University Theater has 190 built in theater style seats. If your event needs accommodation for more seating, our staff can add an additional 50 seats for a total of 240 capacity.

The Baker University Center Front Room is a reservable space in which the layout stays as-is. In addition, this is a space that is also open to the public, even while events are taking place. The stage is the only reservable area.
Combo Room: 240/242
Combo Room: 240/242
Room 240 and 242 in Baker University Center can be separate rooms, or can be combined to offer double the seating configurations. Rooms alone offer accommodations for 40 individuals in conference style seating, 110 in Theater Style seating and 64 in banquet style seating. When rooms are combined, conference style seating becomes usable to 64, theater style to 220 and banquet style to 128.*

3rd, 4th, and 5th Floor Atrium Spaces
3rd, 4th, and 5th Floor Atrium Spaces
The Atrium spaces in the Baker University Center are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. These spaces can accommodate 32 individuals in theater style seating. In addition to theater style, many customers utilize these spaces for table space and promotion.
The 4th floor atrium space is only reservable when the Ballroom is also reserved.

Walter Hall Rotunda
Walter Hall Rotunda allows for a 200 person Theater Style setup and a 150 or 184 person setup in Banquet Style. Capacities are determined via different options for your setup needs.
Margaret M. Walter Hall consists of four lecture halls, two conference rooms, governance meeting area, rotunda with catering kitchen, and various service and support areas. The building is designed to support a wide array of academic and non-academic functions, including receptions, conferences, banquets, and other special events.
The building was made possible by a $5 million gift from Robert D. Walter, chairman of the Ohio University Board of Trustees and CEO of Cardinal Health Inc., and his wife, Margaret "Peggy" McGreevy Walter, both 1967 Ohio University graduates.

Galbreath Chapel can accommodate 150 individuals in Theater Style seating.
Built in 1957, The Helen Mauck Galbreath Memorial Chapel welcomes people of all faiths. There is no permanent furnishing that would be identified with one religion or denomination and there are no restrictions on the type of service that may be conducted.
The Chapel was the gift of John W. Galbreath in memoriam of his wife, Helen, a 1919 alumna who died in 1946. Mrs. Galbreath was the former Helen Mollineux Mauck, daughter of the prominent Mauck family of Gallipolis, Ohio.

Located on Ohio University's historic College Green, the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium (commonly referred to as Memorial Auditorium, or simply MemAud) plays host to a wide variety of events:
- National and globally touring concerts and artists
- Comedians and comedy shows
- School of Music and Dance concerts
- New student admission sessions and orientations
- Keynote speakers
- Award and pinning ceremonies
Originally named Alumni Memorial Auditorium after the Alumni who donated the funds to build the auditorium and to memorialize those who fought and died in the Great War (known now as World War I). Since opening in 1928, the 2,000-seat auditorium has hosted many distinguished visitors such as Martin Luther King Jr., Eleanor Roosevelt, and U.S. Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Obama.
MemAud was renamed in 1993 in honor of John Newton Templeton and Martha Jane Hunley Blackburn. Templeton was born a slave in 1805 and freed in 1813. He graduated from Ohio University, with an A.B. in 1828, being the first Black man to do so and the fourth African-American to graduate from a U.S. college. He was an educator and co-edited "The Mystery" a Black newspaper. Blackburn was the first Black woman to graduate from Ohio University, with a B.S. ED. in 1916. She majored in English and Literature with a minor in Home Economics. She taught Home Economics in Ohio and West Virginia.
