Designed for precision and stability which yields quality ribbons even for difficult to cut paraffin sections, the Epredia^tm HM 340E Electronic Microtome is an ergonomically designed, electronic rotary microtome with stepping-motor advance technology for precision and stability to provide superior sectioning results.

CAPABILITIES OF THE EQUIPMENT:

• Easily switch between thickness settings for trim and fine sectioning
• X/Y fine orientation with reproducible zero positioning
• Rocking mode allows the handwheel to be “rocked” into a forward
   position allowing advancement of the specimen without a complete
   rotation of the handwheel
• Motorized specimen advance
• Specimen retraction (can be deactivated)
• Longest stroke length available (72 mm) allows high-quality sections
   of Macro / SuperMega cassettes
