Supplemental Funding Opportunities for DoE Supported Researchers
Certain programs within Dept. of Energy (DOE) allow renewal and supplemental applications. For both types of grants, applicants need to consult with the appropriate DOE program manager prior to submission.
- Renewal applications request an extended period of support for an existing grant.
- Supplemental applications fall into two categories:
- Additional funds to add a new task/activity to the Scope of Work.
- Additional funds to complete the existing Scope of Work due to unforeseen circumstances,
DOE SBIR and STTR Phase II Diversity Supplements
to improve the diversity of the research workforce by recruiting and supporting undergraduate and graduate students from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in federal SBIR/STTR research programs.
