Recent Building Renovations – Ridges Green
The Ridges
The former Athens Mental Hospital was acquired in the 1990s by Ohio University. Ohio University has made extensive renovations and repairs to Buildings 13, 14, 18, 19, 21 and 22, as well as Lin Hall and other buildings on The Ridges, over the past decades. The most recent project was renovation of Buildings 13, 14 and 18, which now house the Ohio University Police Department and a number of other administrative offices, as well as flexible workspace. Lin hall is the home of the Kennedy Museum of Art, and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs occupies Buildings 19 and 21. Buildings 2-5 are available for a public-private partnership renovation.
