Charles J. Ping International Leadership Award

International Student and Scholar Services created this award in 2010 to recognize outstanding leadership by an F-1 or J-1 international student enrolled in Ohio University. This award is named for President Emeritus Charles J. Ping, president of Ohio University from 1975-1994, to honor his support for international education and exchange. President Emeritus Ping's leadership resulted in the expansion of international education at Ohio University. In 2016, a second category was added to recognize leadership and contributions to the international community by students who are not in F-1 or J-1 nonimmigrant status.

How to Apply

Application review and selection takes place during the Spring semester. Students can apply on the Leadership Awards site. They will also receive more information via email from the Dean of Students Office.
