International Student Emergency Relief Fund
A collaboration between Ohio University, members of the Athens, Ohio community, and the International Student Task Force, has created an International Student Emergency Relief Fund.
This fund was established by a generous emergency grant from the Athens County Foundation. With the support of over 100 donors to date, the fund has now grown closer to our original goal of $50,000. If you would like to make a donation, please click on the following link.
The International Student Emergency Relief Fund will be used to respond to immediate needs for international students in Athens, Ohio. The funds will support needs including, but not limited to, rent, food, and utilities. ISFS has created an application that is now available for international students currently in Athens (which includes Spring 2020 graduates) to apply for support.
The International Student Emergency Relief Fund committee is finalizing review of the June/July applications.
The application for the fund is now closed. Awards will continue to be provided as funds are raised. Should enough funds be raised to offer a round of applications for August and September, students will be informed.
