Jennifer Nisevich

Jennifer Nisevich

Associate Director

Jennifer assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the office, leads the immigration advising team, manages university compliance with F-1 and J-1 visa regulations, and oversees database and information management. She also provides general and immigration advising for international students and scholars.

She earned an M.S.Ed degree from Indiana University, in the Higher Education Student Affairs program.

Jennifer loves to travel and try foods from around the globe. (Especially the spicy foods!) She has visited more than 20 countries, and hopes to see many more in the years ahead. She also loves dogs, and likes to volunteer with animal rescue groups.

Andy Badii

Andy Badii

International Student Advisor

Andy Badii completed his Master's degree at the University of Dayton in College Student Personnel. He also studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain for a summer.  He advises international students on the F-1 and J-1 visas.

In his free time Andy likes to read about and keep up on international news and current events. He also enjoys learning about different cultures.  Andy likes to follow local sports teams and tries to travel as much as he can.

Diane has been at OHIO since 2009 and has held a leadership role in the Office of Global Affairs and International Studies since 2011.

With ISSS, her focus is on the relationships with the University community and the global stakeholders of ISSS in support of our international students' and scholars' success at OHIO.

Abby Conder

Abby Conder Lussier

International Student Advisor

Abby Conder serves as an International Student Advisor and provides immigration advising to F-1 and J-1 students. She enjoys advocating for international education, and takes every opportunity to learn about different cultures.

An Ohio native, Abby spent a near four years in China, both as a student (Lanzhou University) and as a faculty member at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. Her experiences in China fueled her passion for international education.

She received her MA in International Studies from Concordia University in Irvine California in 2014. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and spend time with family.

Shauna Torrington

Shauna Torrington

Graduate Assistant

Shauna serves as the International Student and Scholar Services Graduate Assistant. She especially focuses on the logistics for International Student Orientation (ISO).

Shauna is the holder of two masters from OU- MA Latin American Studies and MA Linguistics. Shauna has been a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership (ODK) Honor Society since 2014. She is the 2018 recipient of the Margaret J. Felsinger Scholarship and the 2019 recipient of the HVFH/Pi Beta Phi Scholarship. Shauna is presently a Holmes Scholar in the Patton College of Education where she is a third year PhD student in the Department of Teacher Education- Curriculum and Instruction.

Shauna is from Guyana and loves to travel for language immersion. She has visited French Guiana, Suriname, Trinidad, San Andres, Columbia, Honduras, Cuba, Mexico, Ghana and Togo.
