Wray House was built in 1968, in honor of Edith A. Wray. A former Ohio University Professor of English, her tenure lasting thirty-six years.

1st and 2nd floor rooms with two forms of egress have air conditioning. 3rd and 4th floor rooms have air conditioning.
Each floor is separated into three mods, a central living area with 2 or 3 halls of six students. Each single hallway leads into a central living environment.

This building has washers and dryers that accept Bobcat Cash. This facility is only available to students residing in this building. The South Green laundry center that accepts Bobcat Cash is at Dougan House.
