Dougan House was built in 1970 and named in honor of Stanley Dougan was a well-known physician, surgeon and 1914 graduate of Ohio University. A charter member of the Ohio University Athletic Hall of Fame, Dougan played professional baseball before beginning his career in medicine.

Mail:
Residence hall mail is delivered to the OHIO campus once a day. Letters and packages can be picked up at South Green Mail Room Service Desk located on the ground floor of MacKinnon Hall during hours of operation.

Culinary Venue:
Nelson Dining Hall is conveniently located on the South Green. For information on hours, menus, and services please visit Culinary Services.

Custodial:
All residence halls are provided with daily housekeeping for all public areas and 24-hour maintenance services.

Laundry:
This building has washers and dryers that accept Bobcat Cash. This facility is only available to students residing in this building.
