Adams Hall was built in 2007 and named in honor of Alvin C. Adams. In 1959, Adams became the first African-American graduate of the Ohio University School of Journalism.

All Residence Halls are provided with daily housekeeping for all public areas and 24-hour maintenance services. Students are required to regularly clean bathrooms in their suite and maintain all bathroom supplies.

This building has a laundry room that accepts Bobcat Cash. This facility is only available to students residing in this building. The South Green laundry center is located at Dougan House.
