Prior to your arrival, Section 1 of the Form I-9 should be completed electronically.

Provide the required documents (List of Acceptable Documents PDF) to an Ohio University representative from Human Resources or the Graduate College to complete Section 2 of the Form I-9. Original documents are required. Copies will not be accepted. 

There are additional employment forms that must be completed by graduate students holding appointments. The student employment packets are available at and can be submitted in person to the Employee Service Center at the Human Resource and Training Center (HRTC), 169 W. Union Street, Athens, OH. The student employment packets will also be available to graduate students holding appointments during Graduate Student Orientation scheduled on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
