Why We Celebrate
Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a time to celebrate our community members with Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds. AAPI Heritage Month takes place nationally during the month of May.
To afford the OHIO community the opportunity to appreciate, acknowledge and gather in celebration, AAPI Heritage Month will be observed during the May 2026. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions by attending events that honor the heritage of the AAPI community.
Each year, we invite prominent speakers from the AAPI community to share their stories.
