Spring Semester 2023

Free tutoring and writing assistance services are offered to all Ohio University students.

The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) provides online tutoring appointments that empower students to achieve independent academic success. Students meet with peer tutors to review principles, learn content-specific study strategies, and deepen knowledge in historically difficult courses across many disciplines. Similarly, students engage writing tutors to collaborate at any point during the writing process to focus ideas and polish their expression.

The AAC works with students one-on-one to develop better study skills and improve time management habits, motivation, reading comprehension and more.

Writing Tutoring

• The Ohio University Eastern Campus Writing Center provides free writing assistance to Eastern Campus students.

• Writing Center Tutors can support your writing at any point in the writing process

• In person writing tutoring is available in the Shannon Hall Library

  • Drop in Mondays and Wednesdays - 1:30 - 2:30 pm.

  • Appointments are also available. Visit the library circulation desk to schedule an appointment.
