Current Use

Wilson Shannon Hall was constructed and opened in 1967. Shannon Hall, the academic building of the Eastern campus, was named after the first-born native Ohio Governor, Wilson Shannon. The building is constructed of red brick and the front exterior is adorned with four white columns. The building consists of three floors.

Bobcat Den Fitness Center

The Bobcat Den fitness center offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where students, faculty and staff can take a break, recharge and focus on their physical and mental well-being.

Located on the first floor Shannon Hall, next to the Student Lounge, the wellness workout space is the latest project in the campus’s ongoing Eastern Cares initiative, which focuses on strengthening the health, safety and sense of belonging for all who study and work at OHIO Eastern.
