Meet the Eastern Campus Dean

I believe that higher education is a transformative social good. Since joining Ohio University Eastern in 2001, I have had the privilege of working with students at many different points in their educational journeys. Whether helping a prospective student take that first step toward college, advising students as they work toward their degrees or connecting them with the resources they need to succeed, I have seen firsthand the difference that access to a high-quality Ohio University education can make.

At OHIO Eastern, our students are at the heart of everything we do. Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to their success, providing the personal attention, support and opportunities that allow students to pursue their goals while remaining connected to the communities they call home. I look forward to building upon this strong foundation and continuing to create pathways for students to achieve their educational and professional goals.

As a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley, I also understand the important role OHIO Eastern plays beyond our campus. Our relationships with schools, businesses, organizations, alumni and community partners strengthen our region and create new opportunities for our students and for the communities we serve. To serve as a leader at Ohio University’s Eastern Campus is, for me, to serve the people and institutions of my home. I am committed to leading with humility and vision and building partnerships that ensure our campus remains a catalyst for opportunity throughout Appalachia.
