Biography

Production Design Technologist from Southeastern Ohio whose career at Ohio University began in 2021 as Assistant Technical Director. He now serves as the university’s Technical Director, supporting both academic and production operations within the School of Fine Arts. His work centers on expanding diversity, accessibility, and community engagement in Appalachian theater, with production credits spanning Tantrum Theater, Stuart’s Opera House, Ohio University, River City Players, and Ohio Valley Summer Theater. Jaxon holds an MA in Theater Management and a BFA in Production Design & Technology, with recent projects including Hair, Inherit the Wind, The Prom, Pride & Prejudice, Men on Boats, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Julius Caesar, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hotel Berry, Yerma, Little Shop of Horrors, and Twelfth Night.
