Biography
Jaxon Meadows is a production design technologist from Southeastern Ohio. He began his career at Ohio University as a transfer student from The Ohio State University. He initially began his work as a student from 2017-2021, then joined the Tantrum staff in 2021 as Assistant Technical Director at Tantrum Theater. He now serves as the university’s Technical Director, supporting both academic and production operations within the School of Fine Arts.
His mission is to bring diversity and engagement to Southeastern Ohio Theater companies by promoting community arts in the Appalachian Region. He has collaborated with River City Players, Ohio Valley Summer Theater, and Stuart’s Opera House.
His work centers on expanding diversity, accessibility, and community engagement in Appalachian theater, with production credits spanning Tantrum Theater, Stuart’s Opera House, Ohio University, River City Players, and Ohio Valley Summer Theater. Recent projects include Hair, Inherit the Wind, The Prom, Pride & Prejudice, Men on Boats, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Julius Caesar, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hotel Berry, Yerma, Little Shop of Horrors, and Twelfth Night.
