Bachelor of Science in Health

The long-term health care administration program prepares students for a multifaceted profession that focuses on nursing home administration, residential care/assisted living facilities, and home and community-based services. Ohio University’s long-term health care administration program is accredited by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). Professional licensure is required in most states to operate a nursing facility, therefore students should be prepared to sit for both state and federal boards’ exams after completing degree requirements. The long-term health care administration program offers graduates the academic preparation necessary to sit for the licensing boards exams.
