Food and Nutrition Sciences Mission
To provide a personalized, evidence-based education in food and nutrition sciences with a focus on health, sustainability, and community outreach.
About the Department
Today, our programs include three graduate degree options including an Online Master of Science, On-Campus Master of Science, and the Combined Master of Science and Dietetic Internship.
We have five undergraduate degree options including the Nutrition Science - Pre-Medicine, Nutrition Science- Pre-Physician Assistant, Nutrition - Dietetics, Nutrition - Environmental, and Nutrition Culinary. Plus, an Honors Tutorial College option - Translational Health- Applied Health.
We have a Nutrition Minor. And we offer certificates in Diabetes (undergraduate and graduate) and Sports Nutrition (undergraduate) for majors and non-majors to enhance their experience and skills in these growing practice areas.
