Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
The tuition cost is far lower than any other nearby university, and I can stay home with friends and family.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Earning an honors diploma from high school and academic All-Ohio for varsity baseball.

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I am most looking forward to meeting new people and figuring out my major for sure and learning new topics!

What's your dream job?
Physical therapist

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I was given the opportunity to start my college career at a regional campus, then later relocate to the Athens campus to finish my degree. I had visited the Chillicothe campus before, and adore its size, and welcoming atmosphere, which makes me excited to attend there.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Graduating from high school and pursuing further education

How are you spending your summer?
I have been treating my summer well with accorded rest but also prepping myself for college.

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I look forward to officially starting my independent, responsible beginnings through college-life.

What's your dream job?
I plan on furthering my biology degree into marine biology so that I may work as a marine ecologist.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I am most proud of my GPA and being named varsity captain for softball two years in a row.

How are you spending your summer?
I am spending my summer enjoying time with my friends and family. 

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to be a travel nurse. 

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I chose OHIO Chillicothe because it is close to home, has a good nursing program, and classes are less expensive than most!  

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Working on myself and growing closer to God. 

How are you spending your summer?
This summer I am spending it with the people I love, my boyfriend Zander, my family, friends, and cat!

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I am looking forward to learning, growing, and becoming the best version of myself I can be!

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to help people in need as a nurse.

It has everything I want and is close to home!

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Earning Honor Roll and National Honor Society in school and placing Top 5 in the nation with my all-star cheer team at Disney.

How are you spending your summer?
Traveling to Japan.

Meeting my new teachers at OHIO Chillicothe.

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe
I chose OHIO Chillicothe because it allowed me to further my education while staying close to home. I've always known I wanted to go to college, but I did not want to travel very far from home to get my degree. When I found out I could accomplish a lot of my goals right here at OHIO Chillicothe, I was very happy and relieved.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Graduating summa cum laude (earned a 3.9 GPA or higher throughout my entire high school career), receiving the OHIO Regional Promise Award, receiving the Pickaway Ross Teacher's Association Scholarship, graduating alongside the preschoolers I spent the entire school year helping to teach at PRCTC, and finally, getting accepted into OHIO Chillicothe. 

How are you spending your summer?
I am spending my summer preparing things for school this fall. On the weeks I am with my mom, I help her by watching my brothers, taking care of our pets, as well as doing tasks around the house. On the weeks I am with my dad, I have also been doing chores around the house and spending time with my grandparents. Another thing I have been working on is driving, so that I can pass my test. In my free time, I indulge in hobbies such as drawing, crafts, or baking.

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I am most looking forward to adjusting to the schedule of this new form of school and new stage of life. I am also looking forward to furthering my education and getting closer to my dream job.

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to be an art teacher.

I chose OHIO Chillicothe because of its nursing program. 

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I am most proud of getting my CNA license at 17 and being able to help others when they're struggling. 

How are you spending your summer?
I am spending my summer working and enjoying time with friends and family. 

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to become a NICU nurse. 

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I chose Ohio because it is local, so I will be able to obtain an education while also taking care of my grandparents and looking after the house. It is also an affordable option and allowed me to be able to go to college.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I’m proud of myself for finding my confidence and graduating high school. 

How are you spending your summer?
I am spending my summer working and saving up for college while staying close to my friends, regularly hanging out, and going to events. It’s important to have fun this summer while also stabilizing yourself! 

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I am looking forward to having new experiences and gaining new knowledge from the classes I have.

What's your dream job?
I don’t really have a dream job. I just know I want a job that is going to have an impact on people and our environment in a good way.

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I chose OHIO Chillicothe because it was close to my home, and I love the small community!

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Graduating from Adena High School and Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center with my RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) and getting my first home! 

How are you spending your summer?
I’m spending my summer with my family and friends and working!

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I’m most looking forward to starting school and doing fun fall activities!.

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to be a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner!   

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I wanted to represent my hometown and get the best education

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Getting my GED to better myself.

How are you spending your summer?
Going to Alabama and spending time with family. 

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
Getting to know new people and starting my journey in nursing 

What's your dream job?
I want to be a nurse in the ICU.

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
It was closer to home, and I’m going to save a good amount of money. 

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I ran the BuckFifty, and went to prom in the same weekend. I also competed in the Ohio State Powerlifting Competition Meet and came home a state champion. My total weight lifted was 770 pounds. 

How are you spending your summer?
Hanging out with family and working

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
Meeting new people!

What's your dream job?
My dream job is to be a Cardiologist!

Graduating from high school, applying to college, going out of my comfort zone.

With my Friends, taking trips, swimming and golfing.

Starting school!

Nursing or hairstylist 

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
It's a smaller school. I like to be more immersed and have that one-on-one with the professors to better communicate and get to know those who are passionate about the same things as me.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I'm proud of how far I've been trying to put myself out there and become more confident in myself!

How are you spending your summer?
I'm kayaking with friends and enjoying the view of nature, I just moved here from Wisconsin so I'm seeing all the new things Ohio has to offer! 

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
I'm looking forward to learning more about biology and taking another step closer to achieving my goals!

What's your dream job?
My dream job would be either a marine biologist, or an environmental scientist! I love to be in touch with nature and understand how everything on our planet works together to thrive! 

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
My father was diagnosed with Leukemia right as the schools were opening up again for everyone. That was my freshman year of high school, and I did miss my first few months since my mother couldn't be at both the hospital and at home at the same time. I lived with my relatives for a few months, and it reflected in my academics. It wasn't until my junior year that I got myself together and turned my grades around practically overnight. I discovered astrophysics and became deeply interested. I learned of the program where I could relocate to the Athens campus after my first year in Chillicothe. As long as I work hard and put in all my effort, I can still become an Astrophysicist. 

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
Bringing my GPA from 1.8 to 2.6.

How are you spending your summer?
I was just spending time with family.

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
This is the first time I am going to be living completely on my own, so I don't know how it is going to go, but that is what I am looking forward to, whether it is positive or negative. 

What's your dream job?
I want to become an Astrophysicist.

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
I chose OHIO Chillicothe because it has a great atmosphere and offers everything I need to accomplish my goals. I know many people who have attended OHIO Chillicothe and loved it enough to tell me I should go too! And a great positive is that Dunkin is right down the road lol!

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I am most proud of myself for taking some of the pre-requisites for nursing I needed during my senior year as well as graduating high school!

How did you spend your summer?
I spent majority of my summer working, but I made just enough time to travel for 2 weeks before classes started! 

What are you most looking forward to this fall?
This fall I'm looking forward to all the pumpkin drinks while I study!

What's your dream job?
Travel Nurse

Why did you choose Ohio University Chillicothe?
It’s not too far from home and allows me to stay close to my friends and family.

What accomplishments are you most proud of from the past year?
I was able to get myself a new car, and got accepted to OHIO Chillicothe to further my education. 

How are you spending your summer?
I’m spending my summer with family, demolition derbies, and swimming!

I’m excited to start school and for the weather to change; fall is my favorite!!

It’s the school that appealed the most to me and was one of the top schools for my major.

Being in my hometown allows me to balance school with my family while pursuing my education.

Starting this new chapter of my life and beginning my journey toward becoming a nurse.

It is close to home, and when I was touring, it felt right.

Finishing out my last year and varsity soccer, finding a good stable job, and starting a photography business on the side

I spent my summer babysitting, working, and having fun with friends.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? 
I’m looking forward to making new friends and starting new beginnings.

My dream job is to own my own photography business and be able to travel the world with it
