Centauri Simulation

Centauri, multi-participant online role-playing leadership and team simulation, sets up common approaches for new teams. Participants, in teams of five, play through the scenarios on an online interface platform for ~60 minutes. Then to identify, explore, and extract effective leadership and team skills, an offline debriefing session follows. Simply put, teams gain insights into an ineffective and effective leading and teaming through playing and debriefing Centauri.

Developed by the Ohio University College of Business’ Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership, GRID Lab, and Scripps College MFA in Communication Media Arts, this simulation experience consists of two parts: the playthrough and the debriefing. Story Overview

You are traveling through space on the Century Astronautic Research Initiative, Centauri, a 100-year intergalactic journey. You have been re-animated to join an elite team on the planet Bloomtar. Your team’s mission is to collect the DNA of the elusive Rainbow Ray and return it to the Mothership through five stages while managing your time and energy.
