The startlingly prolific Ohio University School of Art professor of Printmaking Melissa Haviland has been working for some years on a series of projects related to porcelain china. Currently, she is engaged in a 3-week residency at Ucross Foundation in Wyoming. She reports "I just finished the third piece in the 'A Host of Options' series. This current piece contains around 1,400 teacup-shaped screen prints that are hung on corsage pins to create a breathing wallpaper."

The first of this series, "A Host of Options (teacup wallpaper)" is currently on view as part of Haviland's two-person show in the University of Wyoming Laramie Visual Art Gallery through December 14th.

Nov 18, 2014 The Forum Theater in the Radio-Television Building has flooded possibly in part due to the amount of water used to fight the fire on West Union Street Sunday and the rain, said Michael Lincoln, artistic director and division head of the Division of Theater.
