The startlingly prolific Ohio University School of Art professor of Printmaking Melissa Haviland has been working for some years on a series of projects related to porcelain china. Currently, she is engaged in a 3-week residency at Ucross Foundation in Wyoming. She reports "I just finished the third piece in the 'A Host of Options' series. This current piece contains around 1,400 teacup-shaped screen prints that are hung on corsage pins to create a breathing wallpaper."

The first of this series, "A Host of Options (teacup wallpaper)" is currently on view as part of Haviland's two-person show in the University of Wyoming Laramie Visual Art Gallery through December 14th.
