Monday - Thursday: 5:45 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 5:45 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Summer Hours (late May-late August):
Monday - Thursday: 5:45 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Our friendly staff is able to support you with questions Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm at wellworks@ohio.edu. Please note that our staff will not be available during holidays and closures.

Unplanned Cancellations
Group Fitness class substitutes or cancellations and any Fitness Center closures will be announced on our Facebook page and Twitter page. Those who are Pre-Registered for a class will receive a direct email about any class substitutes or cancellations.
Please note that, annually in May, Ohio University undergoes a steam shutdown which can temporarily impact operating hours and facility temperatures.
General Closing Guidelines
The Fitness Center doors will be closed and locked at closing time. We will allow a ten minute grace period for members to change clothes and exit the building. Everyone needs to be out of the building within ten minutes after the designated closing time.
Inclement Weather
When the City of Athens announces a Level 1-3 advisory, we will adhere to the following protocols:
- Level One: WellWorks will remain open.
- Level Two: WellWorks will remain open provided necessary staff can safely travel to Grover Center.
- Level Three: WellWorks will close due to inclement weather when there is a Level Three Travel Advisory for Athens County.
Please know that WellWorks will close to be in compliance with any Ohio University campus closings due to inclement weather or any emergency/safety precautions taken by the University.
