Faith Knutsen
Faith Knutsen has served the Voinovich School since 2008. She instructs on entrepreneurship and venture development at the graduate and undergraduate level through the School’s MPA and MSSR programs. Faith provides client strategic planning services to social enterprises and nonprofits. She works closely with Central Appalachian impact philanthropic organizations and funders as a service provider or advisor, particularly for the Athens County Foundation, Invest Appalachia, and the Athens Investment Alliance. Faith also aids in regional K-12 and college pitch competitions. She has served on multiple nonprofit Board of Directors and is an ongoing strategic Advisor to many. She is currently a member of the Fulbright Specialist Program through the US State Department. Before joining the Voinovich School, Faith worked for twelve years in an executive role at Sunpower, Inc., an Athens Ohio-based research and development engineering firm. Her early career in international development began with a tour as a Peace Corps volunteer in Central Africa and segued into international consulting. Faith holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a master's degree from Ohio University.
