Rental Guide
During regular business hours, room rentals are free of charge to non-profit groups and governmental agencies. Outside of regular business hours, normal fees apply.

Additional charges apply for additional preparations and personnel per event.
No alcohol, candles or glitter are permitted. No items/material are permitted to be adhered to walls. Furniture cannot be moved. Any special set-up needs must be requested in advance by completing the Room Reservation Form.

Ohio University Southern Room Reservation Form
As of June 15, 2022 the Ohio University Southern Room Reservation Form will be inaccessible from the Internet Explorer browser. OIT recommends using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to access the Room Reservation Form.

Rental Cancellation Policy
Room rental cancellations received one week prior to your scheduled event will receive a refund less a 25% penalty. All cancellations made within a week of your scheduled event are non-refundable. Date changes are permitted and are subject to a $50 change fee.
Get to know our facilities:
If you're planning on using your own laptop for your presentation, please note that it is not supported in the Riffe Rotunda. You will need to use the computer in the Rotunda with the 4-screen video wall.
Laptops are supported in other classrooms, and in the Bowman Auditorium, but you need to bring your own adapter. Our rooms only support VGA connections.
If wireless microphones are requested for the Riffe Rotunda, only 1 wireless microphone (handheld OR lapel, not both) is available.

Exceptions / Special Notes:
1) The rental fees for federal, state, and local government funded entities are waived during standard business hours. Any event or portion thereof outside of standard business hours are charged the Additonal Fees-Outside of Standard Business Hours as listed above.
2) Shafer Courtyard fee is determined for each event based upon support services required.
3) All rates subject to change based upon special circumstances of the event.
4) Special Law enforcement/security needs shall be an additional charge as per the event.
