    Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment 


    In Fall 2022, OHIO revitalized OHIO Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (CTLA). The CLTA works with critical partners to provide faculty development, create opportunities for faculty collaboration, grow faculty competencies in assessment, promote the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and Discipline-based Research (DBER), and support policies and procedures related to teaching and learning.

    National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity


    As part of Ohio University’s continued effort to provide professional development opportunities to faculty, Ohio University has joined the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) as an institutional member. The NCFDD is a nationally recognized, independent professional development, training, and mentoring community that provides online career development and mentoring resources for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students. All faculty, students, and staff with OHIO email addresses are eligible to register for an individual membership account through Ohio University’s institutional membership account.

    The mission of the Faculty Affairs Advisory Council is to cultivate a commitment to recruiting, developing, and retaining faculty through inclusive practices and policies that lead to a welcoming, respectful, supportive, and affirming environment for all faculty.
