The list below indicates, to the best of our knowledge, whether or not the licensure programs in the College of Arts & Sciences meet educational requirements in each state. Links to state professional associations, or licensing authorities, are provided in the list and we urge you to seek guidance from the appropriate agency in your state.
Educational requirements for state licensure are subject to change. Ohio University updates its determinations on an annual basis or when we are notified of a change in state requirements.
Clinical Psychology, Ph.D.
Based on information provided by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, we have determined that we currently meet educational requirements in all states and D.C. except California and New Jersey. For states in which our program’s educational offerings do not meet a specific state’s requirements for licensure or certification, students may be required to obtain alternate, different, or more courses, or more experiential or clinical hours required.
