Mentoring Roundtables
Insightful Small Group Conversations
The Music Industry Summit will offer small group mentoring roundtables. Mentees will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable coaching and discussion with a diverse collection of industry leaders from a variety of sectors. Each mentor will have three mentees, unless otherwise noted.
Mentoring roundtables are open to college students and professionals. Mentoring will not be available to high school students or virtual attendees.
Advance Registration Required
- Advance registration is required to participate in mentoring roundtables.
- Registration will open [DATE TBA]. All Summit registrants will be emailed instructions on how to sign up.
- If you wish to participate in mentoring on both Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16, you will need to sign up for both days.
- You can sign up to meet with one specific mentor per day, so be sure to get to know all of our participating mentors. The list of mentors is below and all mentor bios can be found here.
Tips for Participating in Mentoring
- Get to know your mentor! Read their bio in advance and research their background. View All Bios
- Come prepared with some questions or discussion points you want to explore.
- If you are a professional, please be mindful that college students will likely be participating in the same roundtable as you. Please give them an opportunity to speak, or better yet, help facilitate group conversation.
- Be on time! The time will go quickly so be on time to maximize your time with your mentor.
If you are confirmed for a mentoring roundtable spot, please meet at Baker Center 240/242 and you will be directed to your table. Lunch will be provided. If you didn't get selected for a spot, feel free to stop by to see if any open up!
Wednesday, April 15 • 11:50 a.m.-12:20 p.m.
