Our programs blend traditional coursework with a rich clinical experience, which has been recognized by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) as one of the nation’s best.   • Middle Childhood
    The Middle Childhood program at Ohio University’s Patton College of Education offers a master’s degree in Education leading to licensure for grades 4-9 in two content areas, including language arts, mathematics, science, or social studies.

  • Adolescent-to-Young Adult
    The Adolescent-to-Young Adult program at Ohio University’s Patton College of Education offers a master’s degree in Education leading to licensure for Grades 7-12 in language arts, mathematics, science, or social studies.

  • Special Education
    The Special Education/Intervention Specialist program at Ohio University’s Patton College of Education offers a master’s degree in Education leading to licensure in Mild to Moderate (MM) Educational Needs, Moderate to Intensive (MI) Educational Needs, or Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS)
