About “Right Before I Go."

"Right Before I Go." sheds light on an often unspoken reality by sharing the real last words of individuals lost to suicide. These letters represent a wide range of voices, including veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals who experienced bullying, those living with depression, and public figures whose stories resonated nationwide. The play also incorporates reflections from survivors, creating a narrative that is both honest and hopeful.

Since premiering at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2015, this impactful production has been performed across the country, inspiring meaningful dialogue and raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. It offers audiences an opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with resources that support healing and understanding.

Ohio University Lancaster Theatre is honored to partner with ADAMH of Fairfield County, whose team members will be present at each performance to provide support, information, and mental health resources.

The running time is approximately one hour, not including the pre-show introduction and the post-show talk-back, both designed to deepen the conversation and offer space for reflection.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Support is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day.

About Disney’s “Frozen"

For the first time in forever, experience the musical phenomenon that has taken the world by storm! Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney’s Frozen includes all the film’s beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with new music written exclusively for the stage.

In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf.

Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.
