Lancaster Campus Counseling Services

Located conveniently in Lancaster's Student Services Suite - Room 314, Counseling Services is here to provide mental health counseling and well-being support to you on your journey through college and beyond. We understand that life can bring challenges, and our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can work through them.

Note: One-on-one mental health counseling sessions are for currently enrolled students. Students will need to show their OHIO ID when they visit for walk-in counseling services.

  • Mondays: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Express Concern About a Student

The CARE Team provides a systematic and professional response in instances where students’ behavior is concerning or disruptive to themselves, others or the community. The CARE Team does not provide mental health services, but we do provide faculty, staff and students with resources and referrals.

Additional Mental Health & Well-Being Resources

As an Ohio University student enrolled through one of OHIO's five regional campuses, you can access a variety of resources designed to support your mental health and well-being. Resources include:

  • BetterMynd – An online mental health counseling platform that offers eligible OHIO students 24/7 access to free and confidential mental health care from a network of licensed mental health counselors.
  • Welltrack Boost – A self-guided, interactive online therapy program. Students can monitor their moods, learn how to manage anxious and depressive thoughts and behaviors, or hang out in the zen room.
  • Togetherall – A free, online and anonymous community providing students a safe space to talk to their peers.
  • Additional Mental Health Crisis & Emergency and Community Resources for Lancaster Campus students.
  • Additional playlists and resources offered or curated by Counseling and Psychological Services.
