Occupational Health
The Occupational Health Program is focused on protecting and promoting the well-being of all staff, faculty, and students by identifying and controlling workplace health risks. There are a wide range of workplace health risks, including:
- noise exposure
- hazardous chemicals
- airborne contaminants
- ergonomic stressors
- heat and cold
- biological agents
We aim to increase awareness and prevent illness and injury before they occur. This is done through proactive measures such as medical surveillance, health screenings, risk assessments, and training.
Occupational Health Program Enrollment
Participation in the Occupational Health Program begins with completing an enrollment form. After you submit your enrollment form, it is reviewed by EHS along with appropriate medical professionals to evaluate your potential health risk exposure.
You will be notified of any requirements based on your exposure risk. This may include scheduling vaccinations or periodic testing, such as hearing exams, respiratory evaluations, or other health screenings.
