Lisa Williams is an Associate Lecturer and the Program Coordinator for the Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development Program in the Department of Human and Consumer Sciences in the Patton College of Education. Lisa graduated with an undergraduate degree in Home Economics Education from Ohio University and a Master of Science degree in Textile Science from Virginia Tech. She has been teaching at Ohio University since Winter Quarter 2005. Lisa teaches a variety of classes including Elementary Textiles, Product Development, and Consumer Economics. She also leads retail study tours to New York City, Paris, France and soon to Florence, Italy. Her favorite part of her job is working with students in the classroom and through informal advising. Her academic passion is working with fabrics in textile testing and clothing construction.
