Students are eligible for the Accelerated Graduate Pathway, if they have an overall GPA higher than 3.2 (or a GPA higher than 3.0 with a 3.5 in the most recent 30 hours) and have completed CE 3300, CE 3400, CE 3610, and CE 3700.
Accelerated Graduate Pathway: Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers an Accelerated Graduate Pathway in Civil Engineering where students can combine both bachelor's and master's degree studies and earn their degrees more quickly. These programs are competitive programs suitable for qualified and motivated individuals.
How It Works
The Accelerated Graduate Pathway provides outstanding students the opportunity to make simultaneous progress toward Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering while completing some courses towards a Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil Engineering. Students may complete up to 15 hours of graduate coursework to count toward their master's degree. In addition, up to 9 hours of these graduate courses will count toward fulfilling undergraduate degree requirements.
The Accelerated Graduate Pathway (AGP) program is intended to allow students to take courses towards a graduate degree while enrolled as an undergraduate student. As such, students are expected to pursue graduate coursework upon completion of their undergraduate degree.
