    Your Path to Impactful Counseling

Tailored for students with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline seeking a fully online program (including K-12 professionals seeking career advancement or transition), our program provides a comprehensive journey toward becoming a Licensed School Counselor. Delve into the intricacies of the school environment, master technology's role in effective guidance, and gain the skills to address academic, career, and personal challenges. With a robust emphasis on real-world experience, guided by expert faculty and bolstered by CACREP accreditation, you'll graduate equipped to excel in the field and make a tangible impact on students' lives.

    Real-world Experience

Practical application lies at the heart of our program. Meeting CACREP accreditation standards, the online program requires a 100-hour practicum, including a minimum of 40 hours of direct interaction with students, and a 600-hour internship distributed across two semesters. This dynamic blend of classroom learning and real-world engagement empowers you to translate theory into practice, preparing you comprehensively for the multifaceted responsibilities of a licensed school counselor. Students attending the program will work with the Department to identify appropriate field placement settings in their geographic area.
