Biography

Wenhan Guo, Ph.D., M.S., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Public Health at Ohio University. His research focuses on aging, long-term care, post-acute care, hospice, and end-of-life care, with a particular interest in improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes for vulnerable populations. His work has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Journal of the American Medical Directors Association, and Health Affairs.

At Ohio University, Dr. Guo teaches courses related to health services administration and health care policy. He is committed to student mentorship and applied learning. Dr. Guo is also active in national academic service and currently serves as Chair of the Aging & Public Health Awards Committee of the American Public Health Association (APHA).
