Biography
Originally from Long Bottom, Ohio, Sarah Lawrence is a first-generation college student with a passion for creating meaningful experiences that encourage student involvement, foster leadership, and build a sense of belonging. Her professional background spans higher education, nonprofit organizations, and youth development, with experience in student engagement, leadership development, event planning, and program management. Throughout her career, Sarah has enjoyed creating opportunities for students to connect, develop their leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo, majoring in Disability Studies and Law and Social Thought, and her Master of Education in Higher Education from Ohio University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Education and Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education and a certificate in Justice, Belonging, and Community Change from Rockhurst University, with an anticipated graduation in May 2027.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new experiences.
