Biography
Areas of Professional Interest
I have taught academic and professional English language and communication for students at all levels of English proficiency and am highly involved in support of International Teaching Assistants. Additionally, I am experienced in curriculum and program development and designed and have conducted training programs for Fulbright scholars and ESL/EFL teachers from a variety of countries and contexts. My international work includes teaching at a university in China and short-term study in Guatemala as well as various outreach activities in countries such as Kazakhstan, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
I have a deep interest in people, travel, and culture. I love to meet new people and learn about them and their culture, their interests and perspectives, and how they move through the world. I love to read, write, take photos, and travel.
