Research Studies

  • studies on speech perception theories and speech-processing strategies to improve performance of cochlear implant users
  • studies of lexical tone development (e.g., lexical tone perception and production) in prelingually deafened children with cochlear implants
  • evaluation of speech perception outcomes in hearing-impaired listeners with nonlinear-frequency-compression hearing aids
