Biography

Dr. Kelley Bergsma Lovelace is a Leona Hughes Associate Professor of Finance at Ohio University. Since 2015, Kelley has taught over 1,500 students at Ohio University in courses covering financial markets and institutions, financial derivatives, and fixed income. She won the College of Business Senior Class Faculty Recognition Award in 2018, College of Business Rising Star Award in 2022, College of Business Professional Service Award in 2023, and College of Business Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching and Learning in 2024. Her research centers on market efficiency, international finance, earnings announcements, and derivatives. She has published eleven peer-reviewed academic articles in Financial Management, Journal of Banking & Finance, Review of Accounting Studies, European Financial Management, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Behavioral Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Finance and Economics, and The American Economist.
