Kali Knudson

Kali Knudson is an Athens native and two-time Bobcat alum. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Visual Communication with a Commercial Photography focus in 2024 from the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University. In 2022, she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Fine Art Photography and Graphic Design from the Copeland Scholars Honors Program at Ohio University.

She combined her interests in marketing, commercial photography, graphic design, and entrepreneurship to develop her master’s project, a roughly 200-page book titled Visual Branding: A Collection of Commercial Photography Created for Small Business Marketing. This book highlights marketing visuals she created for ten small businesses in the Athens and Columbus, Ohio area.

Kali is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Marketing at Ohio University in the College of Business and teaches Introduction to Marketing Management in the Integrated Business Cluster. Outside of the classroom, she offers photography, design, and marketing services through her own small business, Kaptured by Kali Photography LLC.
