Biography

Huan-Tang Lu, PhD, an Ohio University alumnus, is an Assistant Professor of Instruction at his alma mater, a dually licensed LPCC and PMHNP, and a certified school counselor. Bridging clinical practice and counselor education, he specializes in child and adolescent psychopathology, psychological assessment, and culturally responsive care. As a Registered Play Therapist, Dr. Lu focuses extensively on therapeutic work with children and the innovative integration of play into clinical environments, drawing on experience and initiatives developed with Rowan University and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. His overarching work is dedicated to training the next generation of resilient counselors.
