Haley Hopper

Haley Hopper is Associate Director of Web and Application Design and Development at Ohio University, where she leads a team responsible for the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the University's enterprise web presence. She works closely with campus partners to deliver accessible, user-centered digital experiences that support prospective and current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community.

She also serves as the Product Manager for the Websites Product within the University’s Office of Information Technology. Her cross-departmental Websites Product team develops scalable tools, standards, and processes that empower content editors while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across the University's websites. Her team also helps departments align custom applications and third-party platforms with the University's digital brand standards and personality.

With more than 12 years of experience in web design, front-end development, user experience, and digital strategy, Haley specializes in translating complex institutional goals into intuitive, effective web solutions. Her work spans enterprise website strategy, Drupal CMS development, digital brand strategy, information architecture, accessibility, design systems, governance, and project leadership. She believes great digital experiences begin with understanding people's needs and continuously improving the way teams work together. She is particularly passionate about streamlining processes, improving project workflows, and building collaborative teams that embrace continuous improvement.
